The Red Lion pub is situated opposite the church in Sedbergh, Cumbria and serves homemade food and a choice of real ales from local Cockermouth brewer Jennings with Marstons and other guest ales available .
The Red Lion has been run by Carole Hailey since 2000 and her food reputation has grown far and wide, her homemade steak pies are a fine example.
Carole's son Jonathan, a chef by trade has joined the kitchen and brings a new style to stand beside the traditional food already on offer.
All our food is cooked to order from local produce where possible, our butcher, Steadman's next door to The Red Lion is a North of England finalist and has won many awards.
We cater for parties of up to 40 people with either a complete meal or buffet style you choose and we will feed your needs.
